Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths had a marvelous night with the Penn State Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) celebrating their annual Winter Gala at the Nittany Lion Inn! This was the fifth consecutive year that Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths was part of this wonderful event. The students were charming and inventive with their poses behind the BIG camera. It was exciting to say hello to familiar faces and welcome new students and guests to the event!

The Nittany Lion Inn arranged a captivating buffet for this years gala. The buffet included prime rib, chicken and an awesome selection of vegan entrees. The phenomenal dance music was provided by And We Danced DJ Entertainment! They kept the dance floor packed with dancers and not only played popular tunes but also international hits. One young man entertained the audience with his fraternity’s dance to “Atomic Dog” which also included awesome breakdancing moves.

The Graduate & Professional Student Association picked an awesome 2×6, 4-picture, black with gold snowflake border. This year, the photo booth was stationed inside the ballroom, allowing guests to dance over to the photo booth to pose for pictures. Props were flying as quests quickly donned new hats, boas and glasses in the ten second time interval between pictures. Even though the line was long for pictures, everyone was giggling, helping people find some fantastic props and sometimes photobombing their friends’ amazing pictures. Guests did not only take home one photo strip, but a few. They posed with their significant others and also with good friends. A few guests jumped into someone’s arms and posed for a picture in the carrying-the-bride-over-the-threshold style!

Thank you for a wonderful night! This was our “first post graduate year” doing the event! Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths hopes to be a part of next year’s Graduate & Professional Student Association Winter Gala!

Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths had the honor of being part of Penn State Army ROTC Dining Out 2019 which was recently held at the Bryce Jordan Center. Current cadets were accompanied by parents, family or significant others to the yearly event. The Bryce Jordan Center was awash in blue uplighting highlighting the colors of Penn State University. And We Danced DJ Entertainment was there spinning danceable tunes for the guests to enjoy after dinner and speeches.

After formally retiring the flag for the night, guests quickly began browsing through the props to find appropriate items for their pictures. Penn State Army ROTC picked a lovely black background with gold and pewter decorative elements. The Army ROTC logo was prominently displayed alongside the event title for the night. Guests posed for 4 pictures that were then displayed on a 2×6 photo strip. Many cadets posed with their significant others or with other cadets while posing behind Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths BIG camera. Take a look at the fun side the cadets displayed during the event!

Since the beginning of Penn State University in 1855, military training has been part of its curriculum. Lay personnel with experience in the military drilled the students. In the late nineteenth century, a full-time Professor of Military Science was assigned to Penn State. It wasn’t until the 1950s that military training was changed to military science training. By the 1960s, the Wagner Building was assigned for the Nittany Lion Battalion that is still in use today. In the early seventies, women became part of the battalion. The Penn State Nittany Lion Battalion is considered one of the top ROTC programs in our nation and consistently churns out cadets that perform consistently higher than their peers in Basic Officer Leadership Courses and in their units.

Thank you Penn State Army ROTC for allowing Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths to be a part of Penn State Army ROTC Dining Out 2019!

Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths spent a fantastic night with Penn State’s Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women as they celebrated their Sweetheart Formal at Mad Mex the night before Valentine’s Day. The Pi Beta Phi ladies were dressed to impress in various shades but predominantly in pinks, reds and white in celebration of the Valentine holiday. The ladies were escorted to the festivities by their significant others and were greeted by a DJ spinning danceable club hits. Mad Mex had a marvelous array of food available for the girls and their sweethearts, but no one could pass up a picture opportunity at the Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths photo setup.

Pi Beta Phi picked a beautiful 2×6, 4-picture, pink border designed by Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths that was enhanced with hearts, kisses and hugs for the event. Guests picked from an array of hats, hand-held Valentine props, masks, boas, glasses, and frames to dress themselves before heading behind the camera. Since there were four shots, and limited time between shots, guests grabbed a few extra props to change between sets. Guests were continuously smiling, posing and wowing the crowd with their awesome photo ideas. One couple jumped into their significant others arms and posed for a picture in the carrying-the-bride-over-the-threshold style.

Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women promotes friendship, enriches members lives through community service, cultivates leadership among its members, and develops the intellect and integrity of their women members. The girls joining the women’s fraternity are afforded many benefits that include honor and respect, personal and intellectual growth, philanthropic service to others, sincere friendships, integrity and lifelong commitment. Members are part of a sister network that helps the girls grow personally and professionally throughout their lives. Pi Beta Phi members are very concerned with literacy and promote the need to read. Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths spent a marvelous night with the Penn State Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) as they celebrated their Winter Gala at the Nittany Lion Inn. This was the fourth consecutive year Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths was part of this fantastic event. Each year more and more students come to enjoy an awesome buffet of impressive food, phenomenal dance music provided by And We Danced DJ Entertainment and the fun atmosphere of Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths.

The Graduate & Professional Student Association picked an awesome 2×6, 4-picture, gold vine covered border. The border text and curtain were navy blue. Props were flying as quests quickly donned new hats, boas and glasses in the ten second time interval between pictures. Even though the line was long for pictures, everyone was giggling, helping people find some fantastic props and sometimes photobombing their friends photos. Guests did not only take home one photo strip, but a few. They posed with their significant others and also with friends. A few guests jumped into someone’s arms and posed for a picture in the carrying-the-bride-over-the-threshold style.

The Graduate & Professional Student Association consists of graduate and professional students attending Penn State University. The organization is recognized by the University and is the collective voice of the graduate and professional student body in the University’s administration, Board of Trustees, academic units and other external organizations that make decisions on behalf of students. Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths was part of Penn State’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Association of Women in Computing (AWC), Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) 2018 Semi Formal held at the State College Days Inn. And We Danced DJ Entertainment provided the music for the event. The theme for the event was Under the Sea.

The young men and women decorated the room with mermaids, sea creatures, dancing bubbles, balloons and colorful wall coverings of the beautiful turquoise sea. The guests were given a bag of colorful turquoise jellybeans alongside multicolored Swedish fish to snack on during the event or afterwards. Each guest took home a screen printed glass marking the theme and the four engineering societies sponsoring the event.

Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths had Under the Sea props available for guests. Friends and couples picked out their favorite props, stepped behind the camera, and took four pictures with various poses. If guests were not waiting for a chance to mug for the camera, they were on the dance floor dancing. Club lights were flashing along with the dancing bubbles from the bubble machine. If Ariel, Sebastian, and Flounder were visiting State College, they would have enjoyed the festive underwater atmosphere that night!

SWE, ASCE and AIChE are professional engineering societies open to engineering students at Penn State. SWE is open to all women engineers. ASCE and AIChe are engineering societies for Civil or Chemical engineering professionals respectively. AWC is an organization promoting more women in the fields of Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The four organizations meet throughout the school year on the Penn State campus. Check out their websites for where and when they are meeting to join and learn more about them.

Thank you for an awesome time! Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths hopes to be a part of future events with each of your organizations. See you next year!

Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths was proud to be part of LABash 2018. LABash is an annual student led Landscape Architecture conference that was held this year at Penn State University, State College, PA. Students and professionals traveled from Canada, the United States and all over the world to attend the conference. Lotsa Laffs was on hand to snap some awesome pictures of the LABash attendees along with Land8 and Anova photo booth sponsors as they held a Happy Hour at Indigo.

Take a look at the great 4×6 prints below from the LABash Happy Hour event!  A festive and happy crowd came ready to party hard!  The Indigo staff was really great to work with that evening.  Many group photos were taken with large groups of people.

In 2 ½ hours, Lotsa Laffs was cranking out a great deal of 4×6 prints for the LABash guests. The attendees laughed when we apologized for the bright lights when taking a picture, since the lighting was really low at Indigo. The attendees had fun grabbing props, using boas, putting on hats and glasses, and doing comical faces for the camera. No one photo bombed any shots, but groups became bigger and bigger behind the camera. The LABash guests, Anova, and Land8 were sensational photo booth participants when having fun in front of the camera.

Many guests filled the dance floor while lights flashed and the Indigo DJ played familiar tunes. Everyone was laughing and smiling while having a spectacular time relaxing. At 9:30pm, the LABash Happy Hour was put to rest. Before this witching hour, guests quickly ran to the photo booth to grab some more keepsakes of their friends before the night was over.

Thank you Anova, Land8, and LABash 2018 for allowing Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths to be part of your fun and remarkable event!

Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths had a great time at the Nittany Lion Inn on December 2nd with Penn State’s Graduate and Professional Student Association as they held their annual Winter Gala. This is the third year we have had the pleasure of working with this organization, and they know how to party and have a great time!

After dinner, guests were eager to dance to the grooves of And We Danced DJ Entertainment and pose for the camera. Guests were eagerly grabbing hats and props while mugging for their picture at the photo booth. Many people made sure to take a picture with their significant other. Then the tide changed. Groups started to build with friends trying to outdo each other with the hilarious props! We were laughing so hard as people squished behind the camera. Photo bombing was the norm later in the night as guests kept the hilarity soaring. No one wanted to leave at the end of the night. We have to wait until next year to party again with these fine people.

Penn State’s Graduate & Professional Student Association’s 2017 Winter Gala was a roaring success! Each year is better than the last! Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths enjoys working with them each year. Can’t wait for 2018! See you next December!!!

Hey – It’s Down This Way To The Right!

Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths celebrated Allison’s birthday on Saturday, October 21st.  Her husband, Kyle, was the awesome person that planned the event at the Sons of Italy, Williamsport, PA.  Allison thought she was going to watch the Penn State Michigan game with her in-laws and husband, but she didn’t expect to see the guests, Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths and DJ screaming “Happy Birthday Allison!” when she walked in the room.

Kyle, Allison and her in-laws are big Michigan football fans. Allison was even wearing a button stating “Beat Penn State” while Kyle and his parents were wearing Michigan jerseys. Allison’s father-in-law and his friend, a Penn State fan, showed their rivalry while mugging for the camera at the photo booth (see photo below). Everyone had fun posing for a picture with their favorite birthday girl, Allison, and the awesome Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths birthday props.

Allison, Kyle and guests were still partying, having fun and ready to watch the battle between Michigan and Penn State when Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths said goodbye to the birthday girl.  The following week was her actual birthday, and she was amazed that her great husband was able to surprise her with this party. After a hug from Allison and Kyle, Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths was on their way back to Penn State territory listening to the progress of the game.

 Time To Celebrate My Birthday!!!

Who’s Gonna Win The Big Game Tonight?

Fun Fun Fun!!!
