Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths had the honor of being part of Penn State Army ROTC Dining Out 2019 which was recently held at the Bryce Jordan Center. Current cadets were accompanied by parents, family or significant others to the yearly event. The Bryce Jordan Center was awash in blue uplighting highlighting the colors of Penn State University. And We Danced DJ Entertainment was there spinning danceable tunes for the guests to enjoy after dinner and speeches.
After formally retiring the flag for the night, guests quickly began browsing through the props to find appropriate items for their pictures. Penn State Army ROTC picked a lovely black background with gold and pewter decorative elements. The Army ROTC logo was prominently displayed alongside the event title for the night. Guests posed for 4 pictures that were then displayed on a 2×6 photo strip. Many cadets posed with their significant others or with other cadets while posing behind Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths BIG camera. Take a look at the fun side the cadets displayed during the event!
Since the beginning of Penn State University in 1855, military training has been part of its curriculum. Lay personnel with experience in the military drilled the students. In the late nineteenth century, a full-time Professor of Military Science was assigned to Penn State. It wasn’t until the 1950s that military training was changed to military science training. By the 1960s, the Wagner Building was assigned for the Nittany Lion Battalion that is still in use today. In the early seventies, women became part of the battalion. The Penn State Nittany Lion Battalion is considered one of the top ROTC programs in our nation and consistently churns out cadets that perform consistently higher than their peers in Basic Officer Leadership Courses and in their units.
Thank you Penn State Army ROTC for allowing Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths to be a part of Penn State Army ROTC Dining Out 2019!
