Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths<\/a> celebrated National Coming Out Day with the Student Diversity and Inclusion Programming Group at the Penn State Altoona campus.\u00a0 Sue Patterson, Director of the Penn State Altoona Student Diversity and Inclusion Programming Group, and her crew planned an awesome celebration for all Penn State students and faculty in the Harry E. Slep Student Center.\u00a0 And We Danced DJ Entertainment<\/a> was on hand with music making the crowd dance around.\u00a0 The Nittany Lion was not shy, grabbed a crown from the Lotsa Laffs Photo Booths prop table and posed behind the Baby Blue camera for many pictures with students, faculty, and the Lotsa Laffs Photo Booth attendants.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Penn State Altoona LGBT+ community and allies had a blast meeting friends, taking pictures, eating popcorn, and celebrating their pride.  National Coming Out Day was first observed on October 11, 1988.  On this day a march occurred in Washington, D.C. for Lesbian and Gay Rights.  The day is a reminder that the power of coming out is a basic tool that empowers people.  By celebrating in a big way, hope abounds that hearts and minds will change creating an impact on acceptance for gender diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lotsa Laffs Photo Booth created a lovely 2×6, 3 picture, white border template with the Penn State Altoona Student Diversity and Inclusion Group\u2019s logo.  The backdrop for the event was a burst of colors that fit the celebratory vibe for the day.  Many people stepping behind the camera showed their pride with flags and props.  \u201cBeing This Fabulous Is Exhausting\u201d, \u201cPizza Rolls Not Gender Rolls\u201d, and \u201cCan\u2019t Hide Our Pride\u201d are a few of  the props people were holding while posing in front of the Baby Blue camera. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
